Love it here! I was momentarily distraught when I looked up deckhands and it no longer existed, but thankfully I realized it is now named Ocean Blue. Walked in around lunch time on a Saturday to a decently packed restaurant with only two servers. Though that made me nervous, the staff was efficient and friendly! We ordered all of our food as soon as we sat down, and it came out shortly after. We started with Tokyo Oyster's, which were yummy but weirdly not iced? The bowl of gumbo was delicious and the perfect amount to share instead of getting two separate cups. We also got a pound of crawfish and half dozen Cajun shrimp with potatoes and corn. Seasoning was delicious but the shrimp were a bit too overcooked which made it difficult to peel. Other than that, the food was delicious and I would definitely recommend it to anyone craving some tasty seafood!

We stumbled upon this spot by pure chance, and WOW--it blew us away! The food? Absolutely incredible. The playlist? A wild, random mix that somehow worked perfectly. This place has serious good vibes only energy!

Came here for a casual date and we loved it!!! Our server was so sweet and she gave us great recommendations and was very attentive to our likes!! We ordered 2 dozen raw oysters and they were so delicious!! The oysters are really big so you definitely get what you pay for. We put their signature spicy sauce on top and it was so delicious!! I got one of the Asian dishes that she recommended with chicken and it was delicious!!!

Best crawfish I have ever had in my life. They are all big and juicy. It's very well seasoned. I finished 2+ lbs all by myself and still craved for more. Not sure why this place is not more popular, perhaps because it doesn't look super nice from the outside. Give it a try though, you won't regret coming here

I have never eaten here so I can't give a full on review but my brother and SIL love it here. I stopped to get them a gift card for Xmas. They were having some trouble with the credit card authorization so I had to wait a few minutes but not too long. I bought a gift card for 100 bucks and there was an additional 10 bucks added. That's nice but at another place that rhymes with "Smalt Shaders" gave me 10 bucks extra on each 50 that I spent. ;) Just saying. ;) The place looked inviting and clean. The woman who waited on me at the bar was named Heather. She was friendly. I'll have to try the food to update my review but as stated above...my brother loves it there!

I go for the excellent onion rings, but everything else I've tried is very good. These people know how to fry! Next time, I'll see if they as good with the grill, but fried is always my first choice. On this Tuesday, they were very busy at lunchtime, but we still had fast and efficient service. We made a lunch of appetizers: a shared cup of good gumbo, four frog legs, two big spring rolls, and those great onion rings. The house Chardonnay is perfectly good and a bargain by Austin standards. Great place for a seafood lunch. We'll be back.

Very interesting oyster bar. Sports bar feel when you first walk in. Has seafood and oysters like the name would suggest. Also has pad Thai, pad see ew, mango sticky rice, and other Thai foods. Seemed like a conglomerate of a lot of different cuisines which was kinda funny but also neat at the same time. Have never had a fried calamari with nuoc mam in it before, and it didn't disappoint one bit, very unique taste, and would highly recommend to anybody coming to check this place out. I had a frozen margarita, it was good but I've definitely had others that are more boozy, less slushy, better consistency and less watered-down. Wouldn't recommend the marg, but get a beer or liquor instead. Oysters were pretty good, raw and fried. Looking forward to coming back here during crawfish season to see what kind of unique blends they can come up with!!
